BAM! RIGHT IN THE KISSER : Habs 4-2 Penguins

Evgeni Malkin during his post-game interview

That was a lot better. A LOT better. A LOTTTTT better.

This is what happens when all 60 guys play a full 20 minutes. Oops, I mean when 20 guys play the full 60 minutes. Yeah, ’cause 60 guys on the ice would be a bit crowded: “WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE GUYS! WHO ORGANIZED THIS!? LET’S TAKE SHIFTS!”

Max Lapierre is amazing. In my 7 years watching the Habs, I have not seen a player improve his game more than him. Not even Jim Dowd, and Jimbo was bombastic. Any line Lapierre plays on plays well. If only the Japanese perfect cloning…

Eric ‘I’m gona do my best to imitate Georges Laraque, but I don’t know guys…’ Godard was introduced to Alex Henry seconds after LUCA ‘SUCH A CUTE NAME!’ CAPUTI scored his first NHL goal on his first NHL shift…obviously.

But Henry was sent down to Hamilton this morning, which is good ’cause now I don’t have to talk about him. I will say this though, he did not look out of place with Handsome Steve and Greek Sleek.

Oh yeah, the Pacioretty pass to Lapierre was gold man, pure gold! No looker and all.

Speaking of hookers, the elder Kostitsyn goal was a thing of beauty, was it not? Reminded me of the good old days when they used to like, play. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come.

Carey would like that shot from Malkin back, he told me. He was like “dude, i want that shot from malkin back”

Best moment of the game, and what made my day almost as much as the result and the watermelon did: on the delayed penalty to the Penguins when O’Byrne was in posession of the puck, Price stayed in his net. HAHAHA! Fucken great!

A good two points, but let’s be honest, the Penguins are the least of our worries. They gave us more room than the Beyond section at Bed, Bath and Beyond. (I have no idea what I’m talking about). And if you give the Montreal Canadiens time and space, they’ll destroy you – and that’s what happened.
