The New York Rangers, challenging the Habs for the East’s worst best-on-paper/worst-on-ice team, have fired Tom Renney after 4 some years at the helm.
Umm, sorry, that was really all the news there was today.
John Tortorella takes over. If you remember he’s the guy whose Tampa team swept the Habs in 2004. Tortorella had been whoring himself out to TSN as an analyser along with the other ‘hockey experts’.
