Double Trouble X 2 for All Star game

Jean Beliveau announced, roughly an hour ago, the starters for the 57th All Star game to be played in Montreal on January 25th.

Here we go boys,

Western Conference:

Jean-Sebastien Giguere (Anaheim)

Brian Campbell (Chicago)
Scott Niedermayer (Anaheim)

Jonathan Toews (Chicago)
Patrick Kane (Chicago)
Ryan Getzlaf (Anaheim)

Eastern Conference:

Carey Price (Montreal)

Andrei Markov (Montreal)
Mike Komisarek (Montreal)

Alex Kovalev (Montreal)
Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh)
Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh)

Somewhat interesting and surely humorous is the fact that the West’s leading vote getter, Kane with 917 551 votes, would have been nowhere near the starting lineup had he been in the East.

The 12 starters all hail from only 4 teams, with the Habs being the best represented with the obviously sexy but somehow beautifully creepy quartet of Price, Marky Mark, Kovy and Polish Thunder.

Don’t miss it!
