Game-day Bonanza : Habs – BlackHawks
You know when they say it’s now or never? I think that’s what they meant. Last week was pretty good with a collection of 5 out of 6 points and the weekend was nice weather, but the Hawks have made the journey and tonight we need a win, more than they do. So let’s do this boys, it’s NOW OR NEVER! /motivational speech over/
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: 1 point out of 9th and the Panthers. Dem kittenz got claws…or not really. We keep giving them chances to get that 8th place, but it looks like they don’t want it.
Their year so far: After years of mediocrity and funnyness, the Hawks are actually good now. Toews, Sharp, Kane, Khabibulin, Campbell and Keith have contributed to that, but I think it’s just the fact that Michael Jordan retired.
Good guy updates: Carey Price faces the man he replaced in the Canadiens’ nets. No, I’m not talking about Mathieu Garon, but Cristobal Huet! Andrei K is back I believe, and Bobbo said he wants to see more out of that line, meaning he would appreciate it if they took a shot on net during the game. Shout-out to Breezer for being the Habs’ nominee for the Bill Masterson. That’s all. Oh yeah, one more thing, we’re not wearing the Where’s Waldo jerseys tonight. HALLELUJAH!
Enemy updates: Duncan Keith is motherfucken’ +30! Hawks have 10 players with 40 points or more. We have 4.
Soft spot for the enemy: Havlat.
Who will probably score for us: Andrei Kostitsyn! Mama and Papa Kostitsyn are at the Bell Centre, so let’s do this ANDRRRRRRRRRRRRREI!

Who will definitely not score for us: Sergei.
Who will definitely not score on us: Brian Campbell. Guy’s a fucken cunt.

Prediction: Huet either stealing it for his team or absolutely sucking, but most likely stealing it. Michael Jordan to get a Gordie Howe hattrick.
