Yeah, I know there was a game yesterday. I know we lost. I didn’t watch it. Tanguay scored. I was helping my friend moved and I had a birthday. Don’t judge.
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk, everyone is panicking. We’ve lost 4 of our last 5, which isn’t exactly Stanley Cup material form, but hey, things are bound to change…hopefully.
Their year so far: St Louis sit pretty in…blue in last place in the West.
Good guy updates: Price gets the start in nets tonight. Komisarek is still out.
Enemy updates: Andy McDonald? 18 points in 15 games? Say it ain’t so!
Soft spot for the enemy: Paul Kariya. Class.
Who will probably score for us: Anyone but Tanguay, please? The man got here a couple of months ago. Someone score. Anyone.
Who will probably score on us: We shouldn’t take this team lightly. Mcdonald, Kariya, Brad Boyes, Keith CHACHUK.
Who will definitely not score for us: Andrei Kostitsyn is now a permanent resident of this category.
Who will definitely not score on us: Yan Stastny. Just ’cause you’ve got a big last name, doesn’t mean you good. Nuh-uh!
Prediction: Let’s play simple hockey. Let’s get the puck deep and skate. Let’s win this game 3-1.
