Game-day Bonanza : Habs - Canucks
Didn’t we lose to these guys like, 6 hours ago? Last time we played ‘em, they didn’t take one penalty. And yeah, that performance was bad.
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: Um, one win in the last 200 games. We need to make these playoffs. I cringe to think of the horror it will be if we aren’t in the postseason. Guy Carbonneau will be guillotined in Square Victoria while Claude Julien smirks in the background.
Their year so far: They’ve picked up 19 out of their last 20 points. …head for the hills…
Good guy updates: Apparently, Kovy will be back with the team tomorrow.
Enemy updates: Mats Sundin will undoubtedly get the loudest boos heard at the Bell Centre since Celine Dion didn’t encounter a wardrobe malfunction.
Soft spot for the enemy: Alex Burrows? Hits, scores, and can play hockey pretty well too. He’s such an annoying player to play against.
Who will probably score for us: Pleks is hot man! He’s so hot!
Who will probably score on us: Sundin. I’d laugh.
Who will definitely not score for us: Alex Tanguay. The last time he played, I was still in contention in my hockey pool.
Who will definitely not score on us: Sedin. Why is it that Sweden, out of all countries, have perfected cloning? Don’t sit there and tell me it’s 2 different human beings. I’m not stupid.

Prediction: I’m no longer making predicitions until we win 3-4 games in a row. I will predict a pig’s head to be thrown on the ice and a Sundin bald-head spotting. Let’s pick up some wins!
