Game-day Bonanza : Habs – Capitals
Yay, we get to play Alex Ovechkin tonight.
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: See? With one win and one good performance, everyone is having sex again. Habs sit 5th in the East, and we also have the 3rd best defense in the league! woo!
Their year so far: Alex Ovechkin and Semin. Caps 3rd in East. Stupid Southeast division.
Good guy updates: HEY! HALAK PLAYS AGAIN! D’Agostini got called up but will not play, since awesome Guillaume Latendresse is fit to go. Gorgeous Gorges is also in.
Enemy updates: Alex Ovechkin and Alex Semin= 56 points. Mike Green is also having a good start to his season.
Soft spot for the enemy: Awww, Jose Theodore still plays in the NHL. SUCH A CUTIE! The last time Theodore played the Habs, it was at the Bell Centre a couple of months after he got traded to Colorado. If I remember correctly, Craig Rivet scored on him in that game…breakaway too!
Who will probably score for us: I have a feeling Latendresse will get a goal tonight. I don’t know though. It’s Latendresse…
Who will probably score on us: It’s getting too fucken predictable.
Who will definitely not score for us: Sergei Kostitsyn.
Who will definitely not score on us: Theo. hehe
Prediction: It’ll be a tough game, the defense will have a tough night, but apart from Mike Green, Caps don’t have any world-class talent on D. We should take this one 4-3. If not, we’ll lose. If we score one more goal than they do, we’ll have a really good chance of winning.
