Game-day Bonanza : Habs – Islanders

You know what? I woke up today and something was different. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that it was the second straight week I’ve been wearing my good shirt, but something felt different. I think Gainey and Lever will pull this team in the right direction. I think every player will know their role, something which they were confused about under Guy Carbonneau, and we will be peaking at just the right time. You read it here first.

Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: 5th in the conference, still 2 points ahead of 8th placed Florida. We’re gona get some wins and we’re gona make it into the playoffs, but the team has to gel. Not in a gay commercial “Are you gellin’?” kinda way, but in a ”We’re a team, don’t fuck with us” kinda way. I love Gregory Stewart already.

Their year so far: They’re way ahead in the Tavares sweepstakes, man. Two words: Yann Danis. Quebecois. Goaltender. Playing at Bell Centre. Always trouble.

Good guy updates: Carey starts his 5th straight game in nets. Kovy’s apparently sick (Habs Inside/Out) and if he can’t go tonight, D’Agger plays. If Kovy’s ready, he plays on a line with Pacioretty and TurtlePleks.

Enemy updates: How the fuck is Mark Streit +5 on a team like the Islanders? Fucken puzzling shit.

Soft spot for the enemy: MARKY MARK!

Who will probably score for us: Kovalev’s gona score tonight. He likes to pick on the little guys.

Who will probably score on us: Yann Danis. I’m telling you man, we should never trade a Quebec-born goaltender to a team in the East.

Who will definitely not score for us: Kyle Okposo. Hehe, his name sounds like Octopus. And Octopus sounds like Octopussy. And Octopussy sounds like pussy. Pussy means vagina but in slang wording.

Who will definitely not score on us: Richard Park. I love that guy.

Get well soon: Robert Lang, Guillaume Latendresse, Georges Laraque,
