Game-day Bonanza : Habs – Leafs
I love Leafs-Habs games. Seriously, don’t you just get a special feeling in your tummy? It makes me feel all tingly and wanted inside. I could bake cookies with my mom and walk my dog all day today, because at night, LEAFS-HABS! CHECK IT, CHECK IT!
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: What can I say? Some might say we’ve been stealing games, some might say we don’t deserve to be where we are, and some might say Daniel Briere isn’t into men. I say I love this team, and we’re not even at 60% yet. IMAGINE MAN!
Their year so far: Pop quiz: How much do you have on you when noone expects you to accomplish anything? None. Leafs sit 10th in the East, and have been finding a way to win hockey games.
Good guy updates: Price goes back to his favorite place in the world: NETS! Carbo said no changes should be expected tonight, so Handsome Steve, Mandy and Robbo are healthy scratches.
Enemy updates: Nik Antropov and Niklas Hagman = 10 pts in 14 games. Mikhail ‘I was born in Germany’ grabovski = 8 pts in 14.
Soft spot for the enemy: I’ve always liked Grabovski. I wouldn’t go as far as to say I’ve got a soft spot for him, but I would definitely let him feel me up if the occasion called for it.
Who will probably score for us: Alex Tanguay? I’M JUST GOING OUT ON A HUNCH HERE!
Who will probably score on us: Grabovski has been hot, so who knows!
Who will definitely not score for us: Laraque. COME ON MAN! SCORE A GOAL!
Who will definitely not score on us: Jeff Finger. lol
Prediction: It won’t be as easy as the last game in Toronto, so don’t expect a 6-1 scoreline again. I say Montreal wins though, 4-2!
