Game-day Bonanza : Habs - Penguins
Since apparently everyone was busy last night and couldn’t answer my questions, I’ll ask again!! What do you guys think? Is the team a better unit without THE ARTISTE? Will Sergei be back soon? What doe Schneider deserve, a blow or hand? Anyways, the road-trip is wrapped up tonight on the road against the Penguins. The Habs will try to get a first win since Bush was in office.
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: The season can still be salvaged! You just gotta have faith and go out there and give 117%. HAHA! Look at me speaking all coach-like. I could totally make it in the NHL.
Their year so far: Just ’cause you have the two top point-getters in the league doesn’t mean jack or mary. They’re six points out of a playoff spot, and the sky is falling more than it is here.
Good guy updates: Apparently, Kovy will be back with the team tomorrow.
Enemy updates: Kris ‘built as fuck’ Letang is a healthy scratch. Apparently, Ray Shiro is shopping Ray Whitney n order to get a quality winger to play with Crosby on the first line.
Soft spot for the enemy: Maybe Fleury? I don’t know. I’m not feeling very soft spotty today.
Who will probably score for us: Greg Stewart. Time for your first NHL goal Mr Stewart.
Who will probably score on us: Maxim Talbot.
Who will definitely not score for us: Due to his tear-inducing performance last night, TurtlePleks comes out of this category…for now. Greek Sleek will not score a goal ever again though. (JINX, JINX, JINX)
Who will definitely not score on us: Marian Hossa. HEY SHIRO! WHY DON’T YOU TRADE THE WHOLE FARM TO GET A PLAYER FOR 3 MONTHS!?
Get well soon: Robert Lang, Guillaume Latendresse, Alex Tanguay, Alex Kovalev?
Prediction: I’m no longer making predicitions until we win 3-4 games in a row. I will predict a Mathieu Schneider worshipping and a Carey Price cameo though. All that was done yesterday will go down the central city toilet unless we come up with a big performance again tonight. LET’S DO THIS BOYS!…you too Chris Higgins!
