Game-day Bonanza : Habs – Senators
Remember that time when we used to play the Sens and Carbo was all like “It’ll be good to measure up against the best team in the Conference.” Remember when playing the Sens almost certainly meant failure and immediate lawn mower-induced death? Well, that time’s long gone!
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: 8-2-0 in our last 10. We are totally on fiya!

Good guy updates: I guess Halak will get another start, leaving Marc Denis to cut himself on the bench with his skates. That shit must hurt.
Enemy updates: A team with Jason Spezza, Dany Heatley and Daniel Alfredsson can always hurt you. The ‘big 3′ have a combined 114 points this season thus far, and no other Ottawa player has more than 6 goals or 24 points. I just find it funny that Gerber has been sent down to the minors for ’conditioning’. “Yeah uhhh, I need to condition mah cock”. Rookie goaltender Brian Elliot or something has won his 2 last starts, causing the Sens fans to believe in goaltending once again. Remember when they had Hasek? That was weird.
Soft spot for the enemy: ANTOINE VERMETTE!
Who will probably score for us: KOVY! KOVY GOAL! COME ON!
Who will probably score on us: Ummm, Filip Kuba. KOUBA!
Who will definitely not score for us: Matt D’Agostini.
Who will definitely not score on us: Jarkko Ruutu. Cunt. …am I allowed saying the C word on here?
Prediction: Capital of the nation and whatnot. Gotta skate hard, if we go in there expecting an easy W, we won’t get an easy W. Simple as that. Halak’s got another win in those eyes of his though. Habs 4-2 Sens.
