Game-day Bonanza : Habs – Thrashers
Yaaaay, Thrashers. The most exciting thing about today’s game is that Neil Young graced the Bell Centre yesterday with his awesome awesomness. No for real though, I don’t like him.
Let’s look at both teams:
Our year so far: 2 REGULATION TIME victories in our last 3 games! WOO!
Their year so far: Atlanta sit pretty in last in the East, tied with our good friends Vinnie and Marty and the lightning bolts from Florida.
Good guy updates: According to HabsInsideOut, Andrei plays with Saku and D’Agostini. Kovy skates with Hollywood and Yale, Pleks centres Tongue and Greek Sleek while Lapierre will be sandwiched by Handsome Steve and the Iceman (mayo in there too). Price is in nets. Oh yeah, Sergei and Tender and Gender watch this from the pressbox.
Enemy updates: Kovachuk, White and Kozlov are all tied with 21 points. Bryan Little one back. After that, Ron Hainsery (remember him?) with 13.
Soft spot for the enemy: Kovalvuk. He must wake up every morning going: “Oh mader vodka, why i play with sucky teeem dat suckz zo much. I so awsum. I haff tou play for awsum teem!”
Who will probably score for us: Alex Tanguay.
Who will probably score on us: Todd White.
Who will definitely not score for us: Sergei Kostitsyn! OH SNAP!
Who will definitely not score on us: Kari Lehtonen.
Prediction: Habs 3-1 Thrashers. I’m going to the game tonight, so they will undoubtedly want to put in a good performance to please me. They shouldn’t get too nervous though, I remember my first time. Good boys.
