Kostitsyn in hot water with Carbo
See what I did there? I made it sound like Carbonneau and Sergei were having some sort of homosexual relationship concerning hot-tubs with hot water in them! BRILLIANT!
Anyways, poor ol’ Sergei Kotitsyn. Feeling disappointed about being demoted (or shall we say promoted, the way things have been going this past month) to the 4th line along with his older brother, Kostitsyn then did no good to his cause by going to the penalty box on three different occasions on Saturday night against the Sabres.
According to HabsInsideOut, Carbo described Sergei as being a “…second-year player who think he’s been here for 10 years.”
Guy’s got tremendous talent and I have always been a huge fan, but poor attitude rarely gets you anywhere. Instead of putting his head down and working hard like Andrei did, he chooses to be a little bitch-ball. And with Alex Tanguay and Georges Laraque recovering from their respective injuries, Sergei may soon find himself on a train back to Hamilton. (yes, train, no plane)
