LEMIEUX IS BACK IN STYLE!
After playing for roughly a month with the San Jose Sharks’ AHL franchise, Claude Lemieux has signed a 2 way contract with the big Sharks.
Lemieux scored 2 goals and 4 points for, um…(2+4 =…6?) for around 6 points with the Sharks’ farm team.
It was in September that the former Montreal Canadiens, New Jersey Devil, Colorado Avalanche, Phoenix Coyote, Dallas Star and general NHL whore announced that he wanted to make a comeback a la Lance Armstrong.
Gary Bettman carefully reviewed the case and finally rendered his judgment by telling Lemieux he could not bring a bicycle on the ice, in fear of angering Kyle McLaren into an unstoppable fit of rage and murder, with Richard Zednik being the main victim.
