Metropolit in, Dandy out?
Your beloved Habs have picked up Philly centre Glen Metropolit on waivers today, obviously because Kyle Chipchura has been playing like Caillou and we needed depth at centre.
Metropolit played for your beloved Bruins last season, all 82 games for them to be exact. He also played against us in the playoffs, and I really don’t know why people still name their children Glen nowadays.
He’s got 14 points in 55 games with the Flyers this season, 4 of them goals and the rest of them assists, so that means 10 assists ’cause 14-4 = 10 so = 10 assists. He’s also only 40 back of Alex Ovechkin for the Rocket Richard trophy.
It’s funny ’cause we’re playing them tonight so he’s gona be like: “Ummm, didn’t I, like, practice with you guys this morning?”
In other news, Mathieu Dandenault has reportedly asked to be traded, or not really. There’s people who are saying he wants out and some say he wants in. So I don’t know. No problem though, let’s trade one of my favorite players and one of the better skaters on this team. Why not? Heart? WHO NEEDS HEART!? Speed? WHO NEEDS SPEED?! Stanley Cup winner with Detroit? WHO NEEDS EXPERIENCE!?
