Montreal Canadiens 3-2 Ottawa ‘It’s amazing how bad a team can get in the space of just one year’ Senators

I didn’t watch the game. I heard it was a better game, which is promising. People seriously have to chill. The fact that we’re only in the month of November should be enough to make people take some Valium…or vicodin, I don’t know, I’m not a pharmacist.

I saw the game on Canadiens Express (copyrights reserved to RDS) and Carey Price was brilliant. I am a huge fan, if you didn’t know already. That save on Ruutu in the shootout made me wish I was eating Souvlaki, that’s how yummy it was. I love Carey Price. (Men can love other men and not be sexually involved…)

Alex Tanguay with the game winner once again, this time with the most awkward deke I’ve seen since Dennis Wideman’s attempt against Chicago. Markov always pull the same move in the shootout, you’d think goaltenders would have him figured out by now. Thank god Alex Auld is a bit on the slow side.

At the same time last season, we had a point less than we do now and were about to embark on a less than flattering statistic of 6 losses in 9 games. So buckle up, nothing is set in stone, we’re just getting started.

Hopefully this win is a sign of things to come – we have to start this Saturday at the Bell Centre against those fuckfaces called the Boston Bruins and that sorry excuse for a middle-earth warrior called Milan Lucic. That made sense in my head, leave me alone. The midgets are talking to me.

Seriously though, we have to win tomorrow. Why are our players scared of standing in front of the opposing team’s goalie? I don’t care if you have to put Ryan O’byrne in the crease on the powerplay, we need bodies in front of the net. We’re making it way too easy for teams we play.

Anyways, oh yeah, Komi’s not so serious injury is serious. Out for a month.
