Montreal Canadiens 4-6 Anaheim ‘Screw Randy Carlyle, we want Emilio Estevez back’ Ducks

Montreal directed an amazing 51 shots at the Anaheim net but could not find a way to beat the Ducks Saturday night as they fell by a score of 6-4 to the 2007 Stanley Cup Champions.
Anaheim started the game with more conviction, and it showed as first Kent Huskins and then Ryan Getzlaf scored 2 quick goals to give the California team an early edge. Montreal was quick to reply though, with Alex Tanguay and captain Saku Koivu tying it up at the Bell Centre. Francis Bouillon still found time to introduce himself to Corey Perry as they dropped the gloves before the first 20 were up.
The Habs grabbed their first lead of the game early in the second when Tom Kostopoulos scored his first of the season with an odd backhander that beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere. Anaheim then added to their tally with 2 quick goals when Corey Perry and Chris Kunitz put their team 4-3 up. That was it for Montreal head-coach Guy Carbonneau, who had no hesitation bringing in goaltender Carey Price for Jaroslav Halak.
The game winning-goal, and the one that hurt the Habs the most, came with less than 4 minutes left in the second, when Travis Moen used his speed to beat Andrei Markov on a Montreal powerplay and put the Ducks 2 goals to the good.
Despite peppering Giguere’s net with 22 shots in the third period, Montreal only scored once during that span, and Anaheim added salt to the wound by cashing in on another goal past Price to hand Montreal their first loss in regulation this season.

-That penalty shot Anaheim got – not a penalty shot. Gorgeous Gorges didn’t close his hand on the puck, therefore motherf’ers, not a penalty.
-Captain Hook is on fire, and it feels GOOOOOOOOD!
-I’d like to see Yale with Tongue and Hook.
-There should be a rule that states that French-Canadian goaltenders shouldn’t be allowed to play against Montreal. 51 shots Sebastien, tabarnac, est ce que you are kidding me!?
-Scott Niedermayer is fucken sexy! Did you see that play on Chris Higgins? Are you kidding me!? Amazing player.
-First loss of the season, had to come sooner or later. We play the Hurricanes next. I HATE playing the Hurricanes! SCREW RALEIGH! SCREW CAROLINA! SCREW JUSTIN WILLIAMS!
