Carey Price has 0 confidence, and I’m really starting to wonder about Roland Melanson’s work. Price looked weak, out of positin and very shaky.
Halak has to stay in nets for the remainder of the season if we have any chance of making the playoffs. I’m just wondering - isn’t it at a time like this we should be calling up Marc Denis? It baffles and annoys me that they keep thinking Price will just snap out of it. Maybe he’ll prove me wrong, but I think they should send him home for the season. His parents are in town, hopefully they’ll know what to do.
If Mike Komisarek isn’t injured, I’m not cool. And we all know I’m fucken awesome, so Komo has to be playing injured. He hasn’t been the same since the fight against Lucic and that one time he hurt his arm on the boards at ScotiaBank place a couple of weeks ago.
It’s the same old shit every game. We get outshot, outworked, outhussled. It’s sad. And I don’t get sad often. Well maybe sometimes. Like, I get sad when sad shit happens. But that makes sense I guess.
If it wasn’t for TenderGeners/GreekSleek/Lapierre line, the game wouldn’t have been as close as it was. It would have actually been 5-2, ’cause, you know, that line scored 2 goals. BUT ANYWAY!
When the fuck did Ruutu turn into Alex Ovechkin? We made him look better than he is. Yeah, the move was nice but that goal never should have went in.
What is it going to take for Bob Gainey to play Mathieu Dandenault on D? The man has experience and he’s not 67 years old - so he’s already better than 3 of our current defensemen. I’M BAFFLED I TELL YA!
The team has to hit more. The team has to get angry. The team has to learn how to execute better transitional play. Watching us try to get out of our zone is like watching the pain olympics - it hurts so much, but it’s still kinda funny.
