The day they made Friday suck : Habs 4-5 Penguins
Way to dash our hopes and dreams eh?
After a pretty good performance in Washington, last night sucked.
The fact that we came back from a 4-2 deficit was encouraging, the Habs of last week would have folded their clothes and lost 19-2. But we battled back and TurtlePleks is awesome again.
You’re down 2 goals in the third period, you score two quick ones to tie it all up, you CANNOT let the game slip away like that. We have to learn to keep battling, we’re just like the Leafs now. That team has sores on all their asses from how many times they’ve bent down and taken it.
But if Fleury hadn’t been weak, we wouldn’t have scored 4. He could have saved at least 2 of those goals, but he didn’t, ’cause his face is unusually long so his peripheral vision is fucked.
If Sidney Crosby had a finisher on his line, he’d have 20 more points.
Hey, at least Laraque had a fight. It’s the only highlights he’s made since coming here. When’s he actually gona score a goal or two?
Schneider’s shot was sweetness, but the man cannot play 51 minutes in two nights. They’re gona kill him – he was -4 last night. Carbo has to better manage his players.
Speaking of Carbonneau, WHY THE FUCK WERE GREEK SLEEK AND STEAWART ON THE ICE WITH 90 SECONDS TO GO!?
For the love of Elisha Cuthbert’s tits, I love Kostopoulos as much as the next greek guy, but he will not score you the goal you need to tie the game up. Andrei Kostitsyn (3 points on the night) was on the bench at that point.
And while we’re on the subject of greek people, I hope I didn’t jinx Carey. He looked shaky last night, and I’m not talking about “the tower of Pisa scary”, it’s more like “dude, whoa, good thing you told me you ate that, I almost took a shit on it” shaky. It’s not encouraging.
I love me some Max Pacioretty though. Since Kovy’s been out – Pleks 4 points in 2 games, Andrei 5 in 2. I’m just sayin homie…
