The day we had a first line : Habs 6-3 Thrashers

For the first time in a long time, no Habs fan had to use any painkillers after watching a “game”.

Then again, it was the Atlanta Thrashers. But I’m not about to be a negative Nancy after a 6-3 win. Instead, I’m gona be a positive…Paul.

Seriously though – who was that team in red last night? A team that actually skated, won battles, PROTECTED THEIR GOALIE? Who the fuck are you and what have you done with our Habs?

It was so good to see mean ol’ Polish Thunder dish out some punishment. A note to Mike though : it’s awesome that you were defending your goaltender, but next time, maybe you don’t push the guy ON TOP of your own goalie more. I don’t know, I’ve never had two 200 pound men on top of me (well there was that one time in Cabo…), but it seems to me it just makes Carey’s chances of survival less? HEY WHAT DO I KNOW! KEEP BEING AWESOME KOMO!

Everything Tanguay touched turned into a goal. He played like he wanted a new contract.

Same with Koivu and Kovalev. It’s almost as if they wanted to win! No complaints from me on their performances.

Carey let in his usual softie goal, but he was generally better positioned and made a huge highlight reel save on Kovalchuk. That shot goes in, it’s 3-3, and the team wets the bed – aka we’re screwed.

It was good to see Sergei skate and not look like he felt like getting off the ice to watch Arthur, but he’s gotta talk to big bro – EH ANDREI! TAKE PUCK! GO NET! SHOOT PUCK!

Markov is a gem – and he wasn’t even found at El Dorado. That movie was good. I wonder if it really exists.

Mandy Dandy should play every game. Never sets a foot wrong. That goal by that line was sick. HEY GLEN! I’M GONA LOB YOU THE PUCK! IT MIGHT BE A BIT TRICKY TO GET A SHOT ON GOAL BUT TRY YOUR BEST BUDDY! NO PROBLEM CHRIS! BAM! GOAL! YOU LIKE THAT SHIT!? THAT WAS ALL ME!

And hey, when was the last time la Cage gave out free chicken wings? They lost the recipe…
